Lazos de Ayuda Foundation, continuing with its annual program for the education of children of extreme poverty in northern Peru, conducted the campaign to deliver school supplies for the children of IE 11096 JOSE CARLOS MARIATEGUI-EUREKA SCHOOL -LAMBAYEQUE.

39 Children of preschool and 132 children from the 1st to 6th grades were the beneficiaries. In total 171 children from nearby hamlets such as the river, Bancal, MARIATEGUI CASCAJAL, RANCHERIA and the same EUREKA. All of these areas are extremely impoverished, settled in Arenales, where the only way of subsistence that the settlers have is to employ themselves as farm workers with earnings of $3 per day. The standard of living makes it difficult for them to provide resources and educational materials, to ensure their children have an opportunity to acquire any close to a standard level of education in this school year.
Each donated school package, carried a large notebook, a graph, a cartography, a small notebook and of drawing, tempers, plasticines, crayons, rubber, colors pencils and pens, scissors, squares, and drafts.
