The Lazos de Ayuda Foundation carried out a new act of love and solidarity with the minors housed at the CAR San Juan Bosco, located at kilometer 10 of the road to Pimentel, in Chiclayo.
On December 7th at 9 in the morning, the foundation’s director, Maritza Castro, along with a team of volunteers, presented gifts consisting of educational games, speakers, USBs, among other surprises, to the 28 minors housed there.
The spirits of the minors were high, there were expressions of joy and excitement among the children and youth, who saw the gathering as an early Christmas.
The presentation of the gifts was done following the proper social distancing protocols.
During the visit, panettone kits and juice boxes were distributed to celebrate a Christmas gathering. The director of the CAR, José Antonio Córdova Prado, thanked the gifts on behalf of the children and youth who make up this large family.
This aid adds to that of March of the current year. At that time, Mrs. Maritza Castro delivered an electronic piano, which was received by the director of the CAR San Juan Bosco.
The instrument was intended for the implementation of the FIRST MUSIC WORKSHOP 2020. Due to the pandemic, this workshop was postponed until the appropriate conditions are restored.
The CAR San Juan Bosco is a center dependent on INABIF and the Ministry of Women and houses 28 minors, including some individuals with different abilities. They are all males and their ages range from 13 to 18 years old. In some cases, they are abandoned minors, homeless, or come from dysfunctional families. The institution, located on the road to Pimentel, Lambayeque region, provides them with education and occupational workshops so that they can develop their talents and face life’s challenges.
